For the best part of a decade, my artistic and community life was bound up with Edinburgh’s Beltane Fire Society and its modern celebrations of the traditional Celtic cross-quarter days.
My time as a performer, participant, and behind-the-scenes has been as essential to my philosophical development as anything I’ve learned in the university, and I’ve occasionally mused in writing on it.
My work with Beltane led to various spin-off projects, most notably working with Vision Mechanics.
